Lantern Earrings

From the Kent Raible limited edition 'Studio Collection' we bring you a very unique all gold, 18 Karat earring with granulation detail. 

Often Kent Raible creates his limited edition pieces from a one of a kind piece he's made previously. In this case, Mr. Raible first fabricated this form for a pair of large earrings that now resides in the permanent collection of The Oakland Museum of California. 

That original earring had a large gemstone at top, a tapered woven chain leading down from there, culminating in this all gold lantern shape at the bottom! He liked the form so much, he created this all gold version, with an elegant sweeping ear wire. A much more 'every day' wear than the statement pair in the museum!

The hook at the back keeps the earring secure while they dangle freely!
