Cathedral Ring with Aquamarine and Blue Sapphires
In true Kent Raible fashion, the center of this piece seems to 'float' above the ring. The 17.6 carat custom cut Aquamarine, and the four Princess cut Sapphires are set in a Platinum frame, constructed in such a way that there is open space all around this central piece.
This one of a kind wearable sculpture is all hand fabricated in 18 karat gold with Platinum, and fine granulation.
Notice how the blue trillion cut sapphires on the bottom allow this ring to stand on its 'feet'
Like many of Kent's Masterworks, this piece is a culmination of years of contemplation and musing. Having the central gem sitting on his bench, the piece slowly takes shape. He sketches, his palette of accent stones inspires the form, and imaginings of the future owner float through his mind.
